About New Paradigm Energy
Our mission is to help accelerate the transition toward intelligent, decentralized, and resilient energy infrastructure capable of supporting the rapidly evolving demands of the modern world.
At New Paradigm Energy, we believe the future of energy will not be defined by a single technology, but by the integration of advanced generation systems, intelligent infrastructure, energy resilience, distributed networks, and adaptive operational technologies working together as unified systems.
Standing Rock
New Paradigm Energy was born from the experiences, challenges, and inspiration of the veterans movement supporting the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe during the Dakota Access Pipeline protests in 2016.
Joshua May (US Army) and Brandon Boucher (US Navy) were both part of the effort to help mobilize veterans to Standing Rock, where they formed a shared vision around climate responsibility, energy independence, infrastructure resilience, and the urgent need for a more sustainable future.
That experience became the foundation for what would later evolve into New Paradigm Energy.
Rhode Island
In 2018, the founders were approached by activist organizations and community leaders in Rhode Island to help develop a statewide renewable energy and carbon transition blueprint designed to accelerate the Ocean State’s path toward a carbon free economy.
Over the following two years, the team traveled throughout Rhode Island engaging with stakeholders, evaluating infrastructure opportunities, presenting at public forums, and developing a comprehensive transition framework focused on renewable energy deployment, storage systems, grid modernization, and sustainability policy.
In 2022, Rhode Island passed landmark climate legislation that established a legally binding path toward carbon neutrality by 2033, reflecting many of the principles advanced during this initiative.

The Next Chapter
Today, New Paradigm Energy is evolving beyond traditional renewable energy development into a future focused intelligent energy infrastructure company.
Our work now includes the development of next generation technologies such as the Aether Turbine, advanced decentralized energy systems, intelligent operational infrastructure, and strategic partnerships involving breakthrough technologies including Zephyr Mag Lev generation systems.
As artificial intelligence, advanced computing, electrification, and climate volatility rapidly reshape the global energy landscape, we believe resilient and decentralized infrastructure will become one of the defining strategic priorities of the 21st century.
